What is it about programs 6 & 10?

I use Prg. 6 DEEP HC quite a bit--either stock or tweaked. My only issue is that it (and Prg. 10 DIVING) burns through battery power 1/3 faster than the other programs, so I have to remember to recharge more often, and on occasion, I have run out of power and had to switch coils in the field or call it a day. 😠

In perusing the charts & info on pages 12, 13, 37, and 46 of the manual, I can't figure out why this is. The settings for these programs are not out of line with settings of the other programs, so what's sucking up the power so fast?
