As of this writing, I have about 15 hours on my Deus 2. I'm learning that the Deus 2 has great audio for determining the shape of the target, at least in PWM audio mode. I haven't tried Square yet.
What I have learned so far is that can slaw has a buzzy, twangy, forced sound, almost like the machine has dry heaves in cases of large pieces of can slaw. It's pretty easy to tell when I've discovered can slaw this way. Chains sound warbly, and coins, pull tabs and bottle caps that aren't rusted sound like a smooth response. I have come to love Bottle Cap Reject. at 3/5 or sometimes 4/5.
Does anyone else have any descriptions of what various different shapes or non-round things sound like on the Deus 2 in PWM audio? I'd like to learn how to identify as much as possible using audio alone. Thanks for all of the responses!
