The Staten Island History Hunters Metal Detecting Club is excited to announce that they are organizing a special event, the SIHH Seeded Fall OPEN Beach Hunt, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The aim of this event is to foster a sense of camaraderie among fellow metal detectorists, provide educational opportunities, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and win some awesome prizes! I live 2 blocks from rockaway Beach in the 130s and the erosion happens so much here...when they were clearing away sand to put the borders it killed me to not metal detect... I bought I without a hand held pin point tool and no headphones. I want to go to the 1nd annual 1 so bad but we are away that weekend. This looks amazing and fun and I think I would learn alot. I definitely want to be puton am email list for next year's hunt. What an amazing time. Ty for showing this ...
