On the home page of iratemetaldetectors.com, I have the Nokta Legend at 1 for overall and the Deus 2 as number 1 for capability. I suppose I dissed the Equinox. How did i do?
The ratings were very detailed. You can tell a experience user did these. Thought and common sense was used. This helped me out tremendously in deciding what to get THX
I thought they were very fair, and valid. I'm interested to see how things shake out with the 3 new players in the market since your ranking. You have great vids and content on them - looking forward to the updated list!
I find the information to be great. I have a Nokta CoREs. I love the Nokta as it replaced my Tessoro. I have been considering the Legend due to price point. Plus, multi freq seems to be the new standard. I am still awaiting your thoughts on the Manticore. However, I believe you will still endorse the Legend due to being a shade down and price point low. Nokta CoRES is my fav and Whites pinpointing rules! It does a racheting down to pinpoint. Signal stops until you get closer each time down. Surprised your not trying this pinpointing device. Thanks for all you do. I would love to join you when in Florida. Best, Todd
I think your doing it right! Your categories really made me rethink this hobby.. Separation, Repeatable tones, depth. Durability is so important as the prices climb. I also was about to buy the Safari right before the Equinox came out. Surprised you didn't rate it too. thanks again.
I would say you've done a great job. I have a park that we thought was hunted out. Tried all different settings on the equinox 800s to get more. As I continue to learn new settings and tweaks with the deus 2 the park is coming back to life. Silvers wheats and old nickels are showing up. They keep adding new updates and making it better. Just installed 0.71. And planning to head back out there tomorrow. Last year I pulled 12 silver coins and so far this year my buddy and I are both up to 6 silvers. His are all dimes but I got a Morgan dollar SLQ quarter, barber quarter, barber dime,a Merc and a Rosie. Not bad for the first couple weeks! I love my Deus2 so far.
