You have to put the time in then you maybe rewarded with a penny. Rinse and repeat. The Teacher makes it look easy as he has put in his TIME to make it look easy. I know that I could never be like the teacher but maybe having good luck and some karma gets me outside in the sun.
Keep trying till you learn what works for you and you will be rewarded.
Merrill is correct. The beach I detect has sections that are sanded in or “ maintained “ often so they’re good for fresh drops and trash but it’s got an old spot a few hundred yards long that washes down to its original state on a regular basis and old coins from the 1910’s-1950’s are found often along with old jewelry. if you want to find things on the beach, you have to get out there and put in the time swinging. You’ll find a ton of trash but you’ll be rewarded with treasure but you have to put in the work.
Buy a GOOD beach machine ( XP, Minelab, Garrett Apex) and a good scoop and make it part of your routine, watch the tides, get out in stormy weather and the treasure will come!!Good luck!!!!!!!!
I think that there are less coins being dropped post pandemic. Apple Pay/ Google pay/ credit cards etc. But I also think the coin is never fully going away.Beaches are the wild card of detecting, as you can show up on a beach on a given day and there will be nothing and the same beach the next and it will be loaded. The beach can “push in” or “drop levels”. It’s a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
