Just wondering if anyone detects in mid atlantic coast area. Our beaches are short and the area in high-low tide is very steep, I find alot in dry sand and very deep as well but find almost nothing in the wet. Anyone having better luck?

Sounds like the Bays by the Tom's River Social Club. Short walk to the water but long beaches. Right now we are out of our area on a island east of NYC to help a "Associate" with his cancer. We walked the bays local to him and there is not much beach. When we took his wife and daughter out for a day of beauty with the works, we hit the hamptons beach and there wa alot of room to swing there.
Remember there is always the water to hunt. Anytime you enter the water to metal detect you better be wearing a Life Vest.
CHOW!
